What Do We Treat?
One of the main issues with whiplash or low back injury after a car accident is damage to the small joints of the spine called the facet joints. Chiropractic treatment and physical therapy may help diminish the pain, but facet related pain may still persist. Kevin Peterson
Kevin Peterson is a board certified PA. Kevin attended PA school at Loma Linda University, in California. Prior to this Kevin attended the University of Utah where he earned his BS in Psychology with a minor in Chemistry. Kevin has experience in orthopedic surgery, emergency medicine and primary care. Kevin has worked with Maliheh free Clinic volunteering as a primary care PA. Kevin is married with children, and loves spending as much of his free time as possible with his family. Kevin is a Utah native who has lived in various places including Cleveland Ohio, Melbourne Australia, and Loma Linda California. Kevin loves being back near the Utah mountains where he can be found hiking, camping, and rock climbing.
Brock Bodily
Brock is from Pleasant Grove, Utah, and completed his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Utah Valley University in 2016. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with his Master of Physician Assistant Studies in 2019 from the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, Massachusetts. Brock specialized in Orthopedic Surgery and loves helping people return to their normal lifestyle after sustaining an injury. Brock also specialized in Weight Loss, and Aesthetics, but his knowledge spans many specialties and various skillsets. Brock is an accomplished ballroom dancer, even appearing on Dancing with the Stars in 2011. Brock enjoys spending his spare time with his wife and 4 boys. Brock loves traveling with his wife and rough housing with his 4 boys.
Gibran Borja
Gibran Borja, PA-C is from Bakersfield, California. He attended the University of Utah for his undergraduate degree in Behavioral Science and Health. He graduated in 2021 from the University of Utah with his Masters in Physician Assistant Studies degree. He is fluent in both English and Spanish and takes incredible pride in being a great advocate for his patients and providing the best care possible. Gibran moved to Utah about 20 years ago, loves spending time with his two daughters, traveling, golf, cycling and doing volunteer work locally and globally.
Jared Nielsen
Jared Nielsen (MPAS, PA-C) is from Bountiful Utah, and completed a Bachelor’s degree in Bioinformatics from Brigham Young University. He graduated with his Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2022 from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. On his clinical rotations he enjoyed his time learning from surgeons who specialized in hip, knee, shoulder, and spine. In his spare time he enjoys bushcraft, tennis, running, and chess. He and his wife both work in the medical field and enjoy helping their patients on their journey to find healing.
Most patients with pain can be treated with a simple 15 minute minimally invasive procedure. We will have you back on your feet quickly and ready to get back to enjoying life!
